Why is that? Are you finding your other subjects hard?

Good grades will get you into college, and once you're there you can be an art major in an instant. I highly recommend it. *nods*

I couldn't possibly major in art. My family prefers to support my music, and they'd rather that I major in a ';practical' field. I'm working on a degree in Anthropology.

While in college, you'll build up contacts while improving your technique. You can also find venues and build a reputation. Going freelance is incredibly hard, and your professors and advisors can help you in ways you couldn't even imagine.

You _can_ make a career of your art, but it helps if you have a good start.

I've only had lessons in piano, but I like to jam on basically any instrument with friends. It's not like I have the talent (because I've never had the opportunity to make music a pastime), but I have the potential.

I wish I could. I just don't know how I could find a band, musical friends, or anything along those lines. I'm just so busy. -_____-
